How to Add a Visitor Counter to my Web Site?

Visitor counters allow you to publicly display the number of visitors your site has obtained. The following article describes how to add a counter to your existing web site, assuming you have access to your site's HTML files.

Please note that private and detailed visitor statistics are available at all times from your cPanel, so adding a public counter is not necessary if you only wish to consult your statistics. Also note that public visitor counters, much like flashing texts (and other similar elements) are seen as "outdated" elements on the Internet and are not recommended for professional business web sites.

In order to add a counter, add the code generated by third party websites such as http://www.counter12.com/
