How to Block Messages from a Specific Email Address

To block emails from a specific email address, you must add an email filter in your cPanel.

To block a specific email from all of your email accounts:

  1. Log in to cPanel.
  2. Under the section Mail, click on Account-Level Filtering.
  3. Under Create Filter, click on Create a new filter.
  4. Enter the following information:
    1. Filter Name: any name you wish to use.
    2. Under RulesFrom - equals EMAIL (EMAIL should be the address you wish to block).
    3. Actions: Discard Message.
  5. Click on Create.

To block a specific email from on only one of your email accounts:

  1. Log in to cPanel.
  2. Under the section Mail, click on User-Level Filtering.
  3. Next to the email address you want to affect, click Manage Filters.
  4. Under Create Filter, click on Create a new filter.
  5. Enter the following information:
    1. Filter name: any name you wish to use.
    2. Under RulesFrom - equals EMAIL (EMAIL should be the address you wish to block).
    3. Actions: Discard Message.
  6. Click on Create.
